ZubopGambia is a collaborative project involving; London-based world-beat band Zubop and West African master musicians Solomello and Njega Sohna, joined by Fela Kuti’s niece and inspirational female force, Molara, for 14 years the voice of dub pioneers Zion Train.
Zubop have performed throughout the UK and continental Europe, playing a unique blend of original music influenced by many musical cultures. Releases include four widely acclaimed CDs and major festival performances include WOMAD and Glastonbury.
